### Where do the models run?

In the EU, unless your organisation has allowed a model outside it. Every message records where it actually ran, so residency is something you can show rather than something you assert.

### Can you read our conversations?

No. Your workspace owns the conversations, and we do not train on them. They stay yours and they stay in the EU.

### Can a manager read someone's chats?

The audit view reports what happened, not what people wrote. Message content sits behind a separate permission that you grant on purpose.

### Do we need the platform to use Chat?

Yes. Chat runs on the same platform as the API, so it sits on a platform subscription and seats are added on top.
